Cristina began her career after completing her university studies at Cornell University. She worked as a writer and magazine editor for a publication in New York City and then served as the vice chairman for Niche Media LLC. In 2001 she collaborated with an American publisher and entrepreneur, Jason Binn, and helped him publish Niche. At Niche she was the marketing, events promoter, advertiser and editor. She also worked at the lifestyle magazine Hampton where she was the editorial director and its sister publication Gotham. Both magazines are part of ‘Niche’. She is the founder of the lifestyle magazine Manhattan file. She also served as the publisher and editor in chief of the journal for seven years.
After working for different magazines over the years, she eventually launched her own website ‘The Purist’ (thepuristonline.com). It is primarily a space for wellness-related content. The website focuses on mental wellbeing, physical wellness and she posts a lot of content on nutrition on her website. In 2018 she launched the luxury magazine Hamptons Purist, headquartered in the East End of Long Island with a number of celebrities such as Naomi Watts, Rachel Weisz, and Julianne Moore being graced on the cover of this magazine.
Recently, Cristina featured in a pro-female empowerment ad for ‘Delta’ and app-based helicopter service, ‘Blade’. In the year 2007, she was the ambassador of an international line of skincare products called ‘Natura Bisse’.

Cristina and Christopher first met in 1998 at a party and they began to date soon afterward. After some courting, the couple then decided to get married. The couple got married on November 24th, 2001 in a ceremony held at the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, Southampton, New York.
The Couple is blessed with two daughters Bella and Caroline Regina and a son, Mario. Being a wife of a media personality and a celebrity, she has a sizable social media presence thanks to her sophisticated and impeccable dressing sense.
On March 31st, 2020, Christopher was diagnosed with coronavirus. He shared on Twitter that he was self-quarantined in the basement of his family home and he was to conduct his show from there. Cuomo also added, “I just hope I didn’t give it to the kids and Cristina. That would make me feel worse than this illness!” He believed that if people continued being smart, tough and united, they would beat the virus.
