One of my favorites I’ve captured of Pebble Beach. It had been an overcast day and looked as if the marine layer was here to stay. However, as sunset approached there was a slight break in the clouds just above the horizon so I decided to wait. As luck would have it, the sun broke through for a few moments just prior to sunset yielding this dramatic scene. FYI: a couple had walked out to get a glimpse of this iconic hole…as they started to walk away I suggested they stay because if the sun were to come out their experience of being on this spot would be greatly enhanced…well, they decided to keep walking and I suspect missed this amazing moment. @pebblebeachgolf @pebblebeachresorts @pebblebeachca @usopengolf2019 @usopengolf Follow @evan_schiller_photography
